CJ is a 16-year-old teenage girl. She suffers from excessive anxiety about her future and deteriorating living conditions. She has persistent problems with her family, her parents pressuring her to drop out of school.

During her psychological follow-up at the Mouvement Social, our therapist worked on rebuilding CJ’s relationship with her parents, bringing their points of view to closer grounds, related to customs, traditions, and openness to new concepts that better suit the girl’s generation and personality.

CJ is among the first in her class, she’s incredibly talented and dreams of becoming a doctor; while her mother was adamant about sending her for practical and quick vocational training.
It took many sessions for CJ to draw her parents into accepting that she continues her academic studies.
She finally enrolled successfully in second grade at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year.
She is now able to control her anxiety and her relationship with her parents has totally recovered.
CJ is now an optimistic and active young lady, working towards building a better future for herself.
