Opened in 1976, this center’s location was chosen for its accessibility to the various Bekaa regions.
Due to the high numbers of school dropouts and the difficult economic conditions of the local population, the need rose for activating the role of youth in the area through vocational training courses that engage them in their society and connect them with business professionals.
Zahleh center focuses on empowering vulnerable women and youth through socio-economic projects in addition to child protection programs and social behavior change programs.
